As the start of the season draws nearer I will take a look at players to keep an eye for each team for the upcoming season. We will start with the NFC North
Chicago Bears: Shea McClellin DE- McClellin was one of my favorite DL prospects in 2012. He’s got great size and athleticism and I expect him to make strides as a pass rusher this year and eventually develop in to a well rounded DL. This year will be crucial for his development
Detroit Lions: Riley Reiff LT- Reiff was the Lions first pick in 2012. He will be replacing Jeff Backus this year and if Matt Stafford expects to pass as much as he is accustomed to Reiff will have to protect the blindside of the new $53 million dollar man.
Green Bay Packers: Nick Perry OLB- The Packers were hoping Perry would be able to provide an immediate pass rush his rookie season , but it was unfortunately cut short. Perry struggled while on the field but as we’ve seen it sometimes takes pass rushers a year or so to put it all together. Is this the year?
Minnesota Vikings: Jarius Wright WR- Wright had a bit of a breakout year last year. Look for him to get more touches in a full season without Percy Harvin. If he can improve his numbers from last year he will really help out Christian Ponder who is in a make or break season of sorts
