San Diego Chargers’ quarterback Philip Rivers gets a bad rap because he is consistently seen jawing at either his opponents or the referees. Although the worst he’ll ever say is “gee! why did you make that dumb call” or “I can see you’re trying to blitz me! That stinkin’ play won’t work.”
During Sunday’s loss versus the Titans, Rivers jawing cost his team 15-yards when he disagreed with the refs’ rightful offensive pass interference call that cost the Chargers a touchdown. Rivers, of course, says he didn’t say anything out of line.
Rivers on what he said to get unsportsmanlike conduct "I didn't say one thing that's out of line…that's no excuse…"

Regardless, it’s good that Rivers acknowledges he cost his team yards and hopefully this will settle him down.
