Phil Simms doesn’t believe Andrew Luck has an NFL arm

While most football experts and analysts see a complete NFL ready quarterback in Stanford’s Andrew Luck,  former NFL quarterback and current CBS analyst Phil Simms doesn’t see the same.

During an appearance on on Sirius XM Blitz,  Simms said,  “I’m sorry. I just don’t see big time NFL throws.”

Finally,  after listening to everyone praise Luck,  we have at least one person who has something negative to say about him.

Of course Simms isn’t saying that Luck won’t be good in the NFL,  but everybody has made it seem like Luck will be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

What the Hell does Simms know…He raised 2 kids that in his mind are probally NFL QB’s but in everyone else they just stink…Granted chris Simms was alright before injuries and the Pot DUI set in but Matt Simms is awful but Phil will tell u he doesnt see much of a difference between his son and Luck….I wonder if Derek Dooley has the same opinion.

Chris Simms was the most over hyped, underachieving quarterback to play at Texas and was a non-entity in the NFL. He made the same mistakes as a senior that he made as a freshman.

Simms was average himself. Yes, he won a super bowl but that was on a legendary Parcells coached team that was more about ball control, running out the clock and winning 7-3 games with defense. Don’t forget Lawrence Taylor, cokehead/thug supreme who controlled games by himself and nearly ripped Joe Theismann’s leg off at the knee. Jeff Hostetler won the next time the NYG went around – that says it all. Simms was a Jim McMahon type, a good leader, tough, but not much in the way of outstanding physical gifts. Luck, going to Stanford and all, is definitely not dumb as a brick like JaMarcus Russell, but doesn’t have the overwhelming toolbox of a Cam Newton, either. Chris Simms sucked and the other Simms kid is worse. Enough already.

Your wrong bucko-Simms did QB a winning SuperBowl team. He went 22 out uf 25 for the highest % completion at that time, in fact I think its still a record. They beat the Broncos, I know cause I am a diehard Bronco fan.
