The speculation of Peyton Manning possibly being traded from the Indianapolis Colts this coming offseason his continuing to grow.
On Monday we mentioned that the Washington Redskins might be interested in making the Colts an offer for Manning.
During a radio interview on Wednesday with the Sports Junkies on 106.7 the Fan in Washington DC, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com indicated that he believes that Manning may not want to stick around if the Colts end up drafting Andrew Luck first overall. In that case he may end up forcing a trade out of Indy, even though he’s supposedly indicated that he’s OK with the Colts drafting a quarterback in April.
As the rumors continue to swirl, only time will tell what will truly happen in the end.

thats the most dumbest thing i have ever heard in my life. why the hell would they trade him when he probably still has a few more good years left in him. Also a rookie is not gonna lead this team unless hes like cam newton off the start.
Manning knows if he is healthy, Irsay will not trade him. Even if he is not healthy Irsay will hold on to him because no one else can afford him. Drafting the next quarterback is something that has needed to take place the past 3 years and all that is ever done is drafting a known backup. Draft Luck and let him sit and learn for 2 years, then let Manning retire to the front office.
Exactly, Ithink Peyton’s greatest legacy is going to be a teacher and a coach, not just a QB.
Living in Indiana, I realize that the whole state worships Manning. So does Irsay, Bill Polian, and Coach Caldwell. They will never trade him. End of story. Stop making up “news” to get your opinion heard. There isn’t even a glimmer of hope that would make you believe this. The Packers let Rodgers sit behind Favre for years. Andrew Luck isn’t the greatest prospect of all time, I don’t know why everyone is riding his dong. After 9 years of sports journalism, you have finally hit bottom, pal. The only rumors “swirling” are generated by you, and people like you, whenever you don’t have a real story. Congrats on mediocrity!
