Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning doesn’t look like he’ll be ready for the start of training camp after under going offseason neck surgery on May 23. A timetable for his return is unknown at this point. He may miss a week or two or all of training camp. The Colts will get a better idea of where Manning’s rehab is at when their medical staff is able to examine him after the lockout.
With Manning missing training camp time, it could affect how well the Colts start off the 2011 season. The missed time will likely affect the Colts’ offense in a negative way with their timing and rhythm. We truly won’t know until the regular season rolls around and we are able to see Manning play.
