Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning told the media on Wednesday that during his lowest point last season, when he wasn’t able to play football, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady reached out to him.
“He plays for another team and he reached out to me and said, “Hey anything I can do to help the rehab, miss seeing you out there,” Manning said, per Mike Klis of the Denver Post.
“When you’re injured, and you’re not out there playing, you kind of find out who’s with you and who’s not. Tom consistently throughout the season would check in with me. I appreciate that. It says a lot.”
What’s great about both Brady and Manning is that they both get it. They understand that life is bigger the game of football. Love him or hate him, there’s no doubt Tom Brady is a class act.
