Every NFL coach typically gets Super Bowl advice from another current or former head coach that’s been to the big game.
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll wouldn’t tell the media on Sunday who gave him advice.
“I’m not going to tell you. I’m not going to tell you who I leaned on,” Carroll said with a smile at his Sunday press conference at the club’s hotel in Jersey City, New Jersey. “But I did. I had some very important phone calls and conversations with people who know what this is all about and don’t need to point out who it is.
“It was important for me and learned some good things and got validated on what we’re doing, the system and what we can expect and all that. Hopefully it will all weigh in and help us out.”
