Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll understands his team is going to have to put pressure on Peyton Manning if they’re going to win the Super Bowl.
“It’s really about his timing, is decision making,” Carroll said. “We have to rush the passer. We have to get him off the spot. We have to try to move him. And to get to him we have to cover very well, to make him go to his second or third receiver. That gives us a chance.”
What’s really interesting is that Manning hasn’t been sacked yet in the postseason and Carroll understands it won’t be easy.
“It’s all but impossible, based on the numbers and what it looks like, but we’re going to see if we can do that,” Carroll said.
