Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com doesn’t believe Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin will play until the playoffs.
On Monday, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said that an update regarding receiver Percy Harvin will be coming on Wednesday. Whatever the update is, don’t expect to see him before the postseason.
Harvin, who has played in one game this year and has missed three since then due to an ongoing hip problem, hasn’t practiced in recent weeks. Carroll has said that Harvin will be week-to-week until he can practice, at which point he’ll become day-to-day.
I agree with Florio. With the Seahawks playing so well without Harvin, they don’t need him right now. It makes the most sense for them to sit him now and hope he can give them a boost in the postseason. And let’s be honest Seattle wins with a great defense and a running game.
