Wide receiver Percy Harvin was elated after Sunday night’s Super Bowl win not only because he’s now a champion, but because he finally played a full game and was able to make a difference with a kickoff return for a touchdown.
“It’s just a big horse off my back. I finally was able to give my team something for four quarters. That meant a lot to me. Being injured all season, it took a toll on me. Being able to finish and being able to give my teammates something back, because I leaned on those guys so much this year to keep me up in spirits and just keep me going, it meant the world to me,” said Harvin via Sean Jensen.
The good news is that now Harvin will have entire offseason to get rest up and get ready for next season.
