Packers sign kicker Giorgio Tavecchio

According to John Breech of CBS Sports, the Green Bay Packers have signed kicker Giorgio Tavecchio, who spent some time with the 49ers last season.

After a shaky 2012 season for Mason Crosby, it looks like the Packers plan on having him compete for his job going into next season.

I SURE WOULD OF LIKED TO SEEN PACKERS GET SOME OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE LINE HELP INSTEAD OF CONTINUING TO PLOD ALONG. THEIR DEFENSE IS BAD AND WHAT GOOD IS IT HAVING A PRO BOWL QB IF HE IS ON HIS REAR END MORE OFTEN THEN NOT. TT AND MM HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY WITH THE PLAYERS THEY HAVE IF THEY FILL IN WEAK AREAS BEFORE THE PLAYERS GROW OLD OR GET HURT. BUT IT APPEARS THEY WOULD RATHER BE A GOOD TEAM THAT BALSO RAN INSTEAD OF GOING FOR THE BRASS RING(LOMBARDY TROPHY)
