Packers may lose Desmond Bishop for the season
According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, the Green Bay Packers may lose linebacker Desmond Bishop for the season, since he’ll now be forced to undergo surgery to repair a torn hamstring that he suffered on Thursday night.
“Personally, I feel just terrible. It was a very unusual injury, if you have a chance to see it on film. Everyone knows the type of player Desmond is for us,” said Packers head coach Mike Mccarthy. “It’s never a good time when you see one of your players get hurt and have their season in jeopardy. This is an unfortunate part of the game of football. I look for our linebackers to step up. We have a lot of depth there.”
This is huge blow to the Packers. We can’t help but feel sorry for Bishop.
