Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson takes full responsibility for Vince Young not having a chance to make their roster.
“Frankly, it wasn’t fair to Vince,” Thompson said, per Black Sports Online. “We threw a lot at Vince. A lot on his plate. He was a good teammate. The fault is probably mine. Should have brought him in sooner. The fault is mine.”
I don’t think the Packer did anything wrong. It looks like Young was able to grasp their playbook quick enough and that’s something you have to be able to do in the NFL. He had the same problem in Buffalo last year.
