Report: Packers expected to sign Cedric Benson

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Green Bay Packers are expected to sign free agent running back Cedric Benson.
The Packers are in need of a legitimate running back. They hoped James Starks would step up and fill the void left by Ryan Grant, but he’s struggled in camp as well in last night’s preseason game.
Benson should still have enough left to come in and play a vital role on the Packers offense.
