Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins underwent neck surgery on Thursday in New York City.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Collins’ prognosis is good, but it will likely take at least six months before he will know whether or not he can continue his professional football.career.
Collins’ surgery consisted of two neck vertebrae being fused together. There’s optimism that he’ll play next year. But once again we won’t know what his future holds until at least six months from now.
We certainly hope that Collins makes a full recovery and is able to resume his football career.
