Earlier we showed a Redskins assault rifle that was displayed at a gun show over the weekend.
According to CBS Sports Washington, while the gun might look cool to Skins fans, the NFL has a big problem with it since they don’t issue marketing licenses to firearms manufacturers.
The NFL plans on investigating the situation.
The league will conduct an investigation into the apparent unauthorized use of team trademarks, NFL spokesperson Greg Aiello says.
Virginia-based gun retailer Terminal Performance was selling an apparently identical rifle for $1,999.99 at one point. The gun is currently sold out, according to the company’s website.
You can’t mess with the NFL and money. They will come after you.
