According to Jeff McLane Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Eagles and the representatives for running back LeSean McCoy are “still very productive” in their dicussions towards getting a long-term deal done, according to a source of his.
“No one is frustrated at this point,” said McLane’s source. “It’s not like either side has stomped away upset. But there’s a ways to go.”
Both the Eagles and McCoy’s reps have been talking since the season ended in January.
Unlike some teams in the league, the Eagles are looking to lock up McCoy to a nice long-term deal, rather than go year to year.
