Munchak not interested in Penn State Job

According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean,  Titans head coach Mike Munchak made it clear today that he’s not interested in becoming the new head coach at Penn State.

“I have a great deal of respect for Penn St and I hope they find a great coach there,” Munchak said. “But I am happy where I’m at.”

“I love my alma mater, but I have no interest in being the head coach at Penn St,” he said. “I never want to leave Tennessee.”

Munchak also indicated that he’s denied any interest previously and that he’s never talked  with anyone at Penn State about their head coaching position.
