MRI confirms Matt Ryan has a grade two shoulder sprain

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, an MRI has confirmed that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has a grade two AC joint sprain after getting his by 49ers linebacker Ahmad Brooks at the end of yesterdays game.

Ryan will be in a sling for 10 days.  It will take four weeks for him to recover.  Head coach Mike Smith told the media he would have able to play in two weeks if the Falcons had won yesterday.
