Well, we’re trying our best to keep up with all of the injury updates around the NFL and it’s overwhelming. So here’s an update of anything we didn’t cover today.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Alex Smith suffered a concussion during Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys. He didn’t show any signs of a concussion during the game and has already been cleared to practice.
49ers receiver Braylon Edwards had a surgical procedure performed on his knee and will be “out for a little bit” according to head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Chicago Bears running back Marion Barber was limited in practice with his injured calf.
Denver Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas will be out for a couple of more weeks after breaking his finger.
New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung underwent surgery on his right thumb this week. The Patriots aren’t sure whether or not he’ll be able to play this weekend.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan was limited in practice due to a knee injury.
Tennessee Titans receiver Kenny Britt’s hamstring is acting up. He felt some tightness in it after practice.
