Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin didn’t join Twitter for fun, it’s all business for him.
According to the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette, Tomlin follows everyone on his roster that has a Twitter account and unfollows anyone who ends up getting released.
Most of the players released last weekend as the Steelers reached the 53-man roster limit were cut again — by coach Mike Tomlin, who cut them from those he follows on Twitter.
Tomlin follows only 53: his active players, a few who are injured and some team accounts. Not all players have Twitter accounts, which Tomlin plans to monitor all season.
