Mike Shanahan: “Anything short of a Super Bowl is a failure”

Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan told reporters on Friday that the upcoming season will be a failure of they don’t win the Super Bowl.

I think the other 31 NFL teams also believe that if they don’t win the Super Bowl that this season will be a failure.  That’s what every team’s goal is year in and year out.

I personally don’t see the Redskins as a Super Bowl team.  Robert Griffin III’s health is a big question mark for me.  While I believe he’ll be ready for week one, I don’t think he’ll stay healthy.
