Mike Mayock of the NFL Network believes that Alabama running back Trent Richardson might be the best player in the draft, aside from the quarterback position.
What’s really scary is that Richardson reminds Mayock of Adrian Peterson of the Vikings.
“Richardson might be the best non-quarterback in the draft,” said Mayock per the Philadelphia Inquirer. He won’t make it past 6. He’s as close as I’ve seen to Adrian Peterson. He’s a three-down guy. He pass-protects. He’s a bear with the ball in his hands and he’s an adequate pass-catcher.”
So far, all indications are that if the Cleveland Browns don’t take Richardson with the fourth pick, he won’t fall past the St. Louis Rams who own the sixth overall pick.
