We all knew Eagles quarterback Michael Vick wasn’t 100 percent healthy heading into Sunday’s game against the Giants. It would have truly been a miracle if he didn’t aggravate his hamstring injury.
Vick told the media that he heard a pop when he injured himself.
“I felt good going in. I felt like I did everything that I was supposed to do to reassure myself that I could go out and play,” Vick said in comments distributed by the team per ProFootballTalk.com. “But there’s just nothing like actually being in the moment and having to move and having to react. When I did that, that’s when I pulled it again. I felt the pop.”
Vick is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday. I wouldn’t expect him back any time soon.
