Jets quarterback Michael Vick feels like he revolutionized the game of football with his athletic ability.
“I was the guy who started it all,” Vick told ESPN.com.
“I revolutionized the game. I changed the way it was played in the NFL.”
Vick says he surpassed his own expectations.
“The things I’ve done, I’ve pretty much surpassed myself and expectations — over 25,000 yards in total offense in the NFL, and I missed a lot of years and a lot of games,” he said.
“That’s more the reason I have to keep it going.”
I agree with Vick. I know a lot of people will point out other mobile quarterbacks like Steve Young, Fran Tarkenton and Randall Cunningham, but no one made opposing defenses more honest then he did.
