Eagles quarterback Michael Vick believes he still has two more years as an NFL starter left in him even though he just lost the Eagles starting job to Nick Foles this week.
“Going to start for two more years,” he said via CSNPhilly.com. “Then be a backup. I’m going to be a good backup. I’m going to come off the bench and win some games.”
It’s great that Vick is confident, but I can’t imagine a team willing to sign him and automatically put him in as a starter. After all these years opposing NFL defenses know how to shut him down. He also still can’t take a hit with cracking a rib.
