The San Francisco 49ers have announced that wide receiver Michael Crabtree has been cleared for practice.
The San Francisco 49ers will have Michael Crabtree at practice for the first time in 2013.
The fifth-year wideout has been cleared to practice with the 49ers as of Tuesday.
Crabtree suffered a torn Achilles during Organized Team Activities and is now able to join his teammates as they prepare for a Nov. 10 home game against the Carolina Panthers.
Jim Harbaugh said Crabtree’s return could happen as early as mid-to-late November. The team’s No. 1 wideout in 2012 now has a 21-day period to practice, allowing the 49ers to determine when he will be activated off the team’s Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list.
This is great news for the 49ers who recently activated Mario Manningham.
