According to Michael Gehlken of the U-T San Diego, San Diego Chargers’ outside linebacker Melvin Ingram practiced on Wednesday after practicing on Tuesday for the first time since tearing his ACL during OTA’s in May.
Ingram was placed on the PUP list at the start of the season. Last month a three-week window opened up where Ingram would be allowed to practice. After practicing yesterday, it is great news for the second year player that he is able to practice on back-to-back days.
The question still remains whether the team will activate Ingram to the roster as the team’s playoff hopes took a big blow following their loss to the Miami Dolphins. They will have three more weeks to decide on that and if they decide not to, Ingram will end his season on injured-reserve.
