Minnesota Vikings quarterback Donovan McNabb did an interview with Pam Oliver of Fox Sports, in which he made it known that he feels he shouldn’t have lost the starting quarterback job to rookie Christian Ponder.

I understand why McNabb feels that he should still be the starter, but come on, it’s time for him to face reality.
The Vikings traded for him, so he can help them win until Ponder is ready to take over the reigns. But now that the team is 1-5, there’s no point in waiting since it’s obvious the Vikings don’t have a chance at the playoffs this season.
The thing McNabb should be worried about, is whether or not he’ll be able to get another starting job in the NFL again. After a failing with the Redskins and now the Vikings, he might need to face the reality that his days as a starter are over and it’s time to be a back up or retire.
