Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew expects to be cleared to get back on the field by early summer after undergoing foot surgery at the end of the December.
Jones-Drew says this injury won’t slow him down.
“I don’t feel like this injury is going to slow me down,” said Jones-Drew, per the Florida Times-Union. “I just have to train. I want to get back and play.”
If the Jags are going to have any chance at competing next season, they’re going to need Jones-Drew to carry them.
