Starting quarterback Matt Schaub and the Raiders offense didn’t very good at all against the Vikings on Friday night.

Schaub himself went 3-7 for 21 yards.  He admits they didn’t meet expectations.

“We’re not on the practice field anymore. The lights are on. We need to go out and play,” Schaub said. “We’re facing someone else. It was the first opportunity for us to form our identity for the season. We went out and we didn’t play near to expectations or our standard and we need to go back and figure out how to play that way next week.”

The good news for Schaub is that rookie Derek Carr didn’t play better than him,  so his job is safe for now.
