Matt McGloin will start on Thanksgiving for the Raiders

Despite the fact that the Raiders lost Sunday’s game against the Titans,  quarterback Matt McGloin will start Thursday’s game against the Cowboys.

“I thought Matt played well,” head coach Dennis Allen said via CSNBayArea.com. “He got us the touchdown we needed in the fourth quarter. We just couldn’t hold up defensively.”

McGloin did a nice job of getting the Raiders the lead with over six minutes to go in the game, but they couldn’t hold off Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Titans offense.

McGloin finished the day with 260 yards passing, 1 touchdown and 1 interception.
