According Albert Breer of the NFL Network, USC quarterback Matt Barkley might end up staying in school for his senior season instead of declaring for the NFL draft. He feels like he has some unfinished business at Southern Cal and he would also be intrigued to potentially be the first overall pick in 2013.
If Barkley does choose to go back to USC for his senior season, he would have the opportunity to play in a bowl game and potentially a national title, since USC has been banned from post season play over the past two seasons.
Even though Barkley would be interested in possibly being the first overall pick, he could end up like former USC quarterback Matt Leinart and drop out of the top ten after going back to school for his senior season.
