According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network via NFL.com,  Bills defensive end Mario Williams will play in today’s game with plantar fasciitis, which is a very painful foot injury where the ligament gets inflamed.

Buffalo’s highly paid pass rusher missed about a week of training camp with a foot injury that since has been diagnosed at plantar fasciitis, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport was told by a pair of sources informed of the injury.

It’s a painful to play through, but Williams will endure it Sunday in a matchup that will pit him against reliable Patriots right tackle Sebastian Vollmer.

It seems like Williams can’t stay healthy since signing with the Bills last season.  He played with a hand injury in 2012.
