Bills defensive end Mario Williams hasn’t practiced since training camp opened. He’s currently being held out because of a foot injury.
According to Tim Graham of the Buffalo News, Williams left the Bills training camp site to get his foot checked out even further.
“He’s going to be evaluated by our doctors, so he’s off campus being evaluated,” said Bills head coach Doug Marrone. “I have not heard any report yet.”
Marrone claims Williams’ injury wasn’t detected during his pre-camp physical.
“We were all ready to go,” Marrone said. “It happens. You go out there the first time and sometimes you’re sore.”
Even since Williams signed a lucrative free agent contract with the Bills last offseason, he can’t seem to stay healthy.
