After Sunday’s loss to the Texans, Bills defensive end Mario Williams told the media that he enjoyed getting booed by the fans during his first appearance at Reliant Stadium since leaving the Texans via free agency.
“It was great,” Williams said, per the Buffalo News. “The biggest thing for me is if you go out and make a play and get booed, I know I’m in your heart. That’s the most important thing.
“If it’d been quiet, then I would’ve felt something different. I know you’re thinking about me.”
I still don’t understand why Texans’ fans are booing Williams when their team decided to let him walk in free agency.
