Former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu sat out the entire season due to a knee injury, according to Jeff Fendotin of the National Football Post.
“It was just injury-related,” said Fendotin’s source. “He wasn’t 100 percent and didn’t feel he was ready to go.”
Tatupu plans on making a comeback in 2012 after rehabbing his knee and spending some quality time with is family.
The 29 year-old Tatupu will have to prove that he’s still a viable NFL player after being released by the Seahawks because of his declining skills due to age and injuries.
