It sounds like the detroit Lions may have lost wide receiver Ryan Broyles to a season ending injury for the third striahgt season after he apparetnly ruptured his Achilles during Sunday’s win over the Cowboys.
“There’s a potential for (a ruptured Achilles), yes,” Schwartz said via the Detroit Free-Press. “That’s what we’re looking at. And if he does, that would be season-ending. That would be disappointing, but let’s pray it’s not. But that’s what the initial diagnosis was.”
Broyles tore his ACL in his right knee last season and back in 2011 he tore the ACL in his left knee.
It’s sad, but some players can just never shake the injury bug.
