According to Rotoworld.com, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Sunday NFL Countdown that the Detroit Lions are “hopeful” that running back Jahvid Best will be ready to go for their week 7 match up against the Bears.
“Schefter cautioned that the Lions don’t know anything for sure, but this is the hope for now. Best will go through a battery of concussion tests this week, at which point the organization will have a better idea of his true return timetable. It sounds like he could return to the lineup immediately if he passes the testing with flying colors,” wrote Rotoworld.com
Best is currently on the PUP due to a series of concussions. The only way he’ll get back on the field is if he passes the mandatory tests.
