In a bit of good news, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters today that running back Le’Veon Bell will not need to undergo foot surgery.
Tomlin: Bell has mid-foot sprain. We are encouraged. It won't be surgically repaired. Out for this week. That is encouraging news.

We reported yesterday that it’s believed Bell has a Lisfranc injury and could miss 6-8 weeks.
“I’m already healing quick. As long as the process keeps going the way it is, I should be back pretty quick,” Bell said today.
