According to Zac Boyer of Fredericksburg.com, Washington Redskins wide receiver Leonard Hankerson supposedly was carted off the field during Tuesday’s practice with a heat-related illness.

“Leonard Hankerson left Washington Redskins practice Tuesday afternoon with what appeared to be a heat-related illness.

“Hankerson was participating in team drills midway through the team’s practice when he staggered to the sideline and took a knee in front of a golf cart. Athletic trainers immediately helped him onto the back of the cart and removed his jersey and shoulder pads before putting a towel on his head. He was then taken on the cart to the team’s facility,” wrote Boyer.
