Larry Fitzgerald’s dad went on a Twitter rant the other day and made it clear that he believes the Arizona Cardinals have thrown in the towel on this season.
During an interview with Jim Gray on Dial Global Sports, Fitzgerald said that he doesn’t agree with his father’s opinion.
“I’m in a unique situation with my father being a media member,” Fitzgerald said, via ProFootballTalk.com. “He’s making an observation based on what he sees and what he feels and that’s his opinion. I don’t share in those same feelings and that’s where I stand on that.”
Fitzgerald shot down any idea that the Cardinals have thrown in the towel.
“Never. We’re professionals. That will never happen,” Fitzgerald said. “We’re going to continue to play. We’re going to continue to practice. We’re going to continue to prepare every week like we would if we had won nine games in a row. That’s not going to change. We’re not going to quit.”
