According to Grant Paulsen of 106.7 the Fan in DC, Redskins safety LaRon Landry has decided to not undergo surgery to repair his injured Achilles tendon.
I’m not sure this is the good idea for Landry, since he took the same route last offseason and it forced him to miss eight games in 2011.
Landry’s contract is up and he’ll become an unrestricted free agent once the new league begins in March.
At this point I don’t see the Redskins re-signing him unless he’s willing to take a one year deal that is loaded with incentives, since he has to prove he can stay healthy for an entire season.
