Steelers’ quarterback Landry Jones admits that he’s still struggling with his accuracy as he approaches his second NFL season.
“Probably some accuracy issues,” Jones said as to what he needs to do better, per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. “Just throwing in tighter windows, that’s one of the bigger things.”
Jones admitted it was easier to be accurate in college because the passing windows were bigger.
“Yeah, but the windows were a lot bigger,” he noted. “Everything contracts; it’s a lot different here.”I
It’s a good thing the Steelers aren’t relying on Jones to start right now. But if he doesn’t fix his accuracy problem he might lose his roster spot.
