Bears linebacker Lance Briggs had his fractured shoulder evaluated on Tuesday, but unfortunately hasn’t been cleared to get back on the field yet, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Lance Briggs’ fractured left shoulder was evaluated by team doctors Tuesday, but he wasn’t cleared to play, the linebacker told the Sun-Times.
“I have to be able to defend myself on the football field,” he said. “If I can’t do that, then they won’t clear me.”
Briggs won’t rule out playing his week, since he’s supposed to be evaluated in a couple of days.
