Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley’s hamstring injury is not looking good according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Woodley could potentially miss an extended amount of time, which wouldn’t be good with all of the injuries the Steelers already have at the linebacker position.
Right now it looks like rookie Chris Carter will replace Woodley.

Take it from Rocky, Dick Le Beau is still the finest defensive mind in the NFL. Woodley is great, but someone has been waiting for their shot and will step up. The Steelers defense is a great pick year in and year out in fantasy leagues. I won my league three years out of five with the Steelers D. First, you draft a blue chip RB, then a QB, then another RB – and then you draft the Steelers D. That’s how championships are won, fellas (I can’t believe any broads read this stuff) and Dick Le Beau, aging defensive mastermind, is the reason. It’s not just x’s and o’s, it’s the man’s passion for the game and the way his players step up and play hard for him, all game every game whistle to whistle. The chrome is beginning to come off the Steeler’s whistle, however, as evidenced by the beating Green Bay laid on them last January, and as soon as Le Beau retires, it’s over in Pissburgh. I give Tomlin two years after Le Beau leaves before he’s down at the unemployment office with Tony Sparano, John Fox and Todd Haley collecting his checks.
