Kyle Williams is expected to slotted as the 49ers number two receiver heading into this weekend’s opener against the Packers, according to CSNBayArea.com.
49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has been impressed with what he’s seen from Williams.
“He’s had an extremely good camp,” Harbaugh said. “(He’s) getting better, getting faster. I think he’s come back stronger and faster than he was before. That’s so important when you’re coming off a big injury to come back stronger and fitter than before. Because if you come back the same, there’s a chance the same thing will happen.
“You notice that he’s a better, stronger version of himself.”
Williams is getting a chance that he may never get again. He has to take full advantage of it and help the 49ers overcome numerous injuries.
