Kyle Shanahan expected to be a head coaching candidate

There’s no doubt that Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has done a great job adapting his offense around rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III.  He also did a great job of changing things up for Kirk Cousins during last week’s win over the Browns.

Albert Breer of the NFL Network believes Shanahan will be a highly sought after head coaching candidate during the upcoming offseason.

I could see Shanahan testing the head coaching waters this offseason in order to see which teams are interested, but I don’t expect him to rush out of D.C., since he’s got a great job working with father.
