According to ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. via Evan Silva of Rotoworld.com, the Indianapolis Colts will definitely be drafting former Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck first overall in this year’s NFL draft.
“It’s a lock,” said Kiper when asked how likely it is that the Colts draft Luck. “There’s a big gap, big differential in rating between Luck & RG3.”
Despite Colts owner Jim Irsay indicating that they don’t know who they’ll draft first overall, it’s obvious that he’s just not ready admit that Luck will be playing in Indianapolis next season.
