The Arizona Cardinals have been mentioned over the past couple of months as a team that’s interested in Peyton Manning once he’s released by the Indianapolis Colts.
Cardinals starting quarterback Kevin Kolb isn’t phased by the rumors of Manning possibly coming in and taking his job.
“I know how the NFL works,” Kolb said, “anything is possible. I just try to keep my mind clear and do what I can on my end. I plan on having a great year and being a Cardinal for a long time.”
The Cardinals must pay Kolb a $7 million roster bonus on March 17th and he feels like he’ll remain in Arizona.
“Every indication on my end shows me that I’ll be there,” said Kolb.
If were Kolb I wouldn’t be worried about Manning taking my job, I’d be concerned that John Skelton will out play me once again next season.
